PLEASE NOTE: DESCRIPTIONS OF ITEMS MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE (BEFORE WE CAN UPDATE THE NEW DESCRIPTION ONLINE). ALTHOUGH ANY CHANGES ARE TYPICALLY MINOR IF ANY, IF YOU ARE CONCERNED WITH THE EXACT DESCRIPTION, DIMENSIONS, ETC. OF ANY ITEM(S) ON OUR SITE, PLEASE CALL US BEFORE ORDERING AND WE WILL HAPPILY CONFIRM THE EXACT SPECIFICATIONS OF ITEM(S) IN QUESTION BEFORE YOU ORDER.

1) SHIPPING POLICY INFORMATION, SHIPPING TIMES, ETC.

We work diligently on all of our orders, and strive to have every order ship as soon as possible. On lighting that we stock in our warehouse (i.e. recessed lighting, low voltage tape lighting, rope lighting, etc.) typically ship within 48 business hours after you place your order. Items that our out of stock or that we do not readily stock in our warehouse typically ship within 48 business hours to 5 business days after you place your order. Please note that when placing an order online, your order will be processed within 48 business hours after you place your order. We process our internet orders every Tuesdays and Fridays by 2:30 P.M. Pacific Time Zone. For example, if you place your order say on Tuesday before 2:30 P.M. Pacific Time Zone, your order will be processed that day. If you place your order AFTER 2:30 P.M. Pacific Time Zone, your order will be processed on Friday. If you need your order processed faster, Please CALL US to place the order or notify us ASAP after placing your order online, and we will do our best to expedite the order and give you a more accurate lead time. Also note that this 48 hour window is the time before your order is procesed, and all other shipping times stated herein apply. Again, please call us if you need your order processed and shipped by a specific time, or notify us before the aformentioned times via telephone and we will process it for you as soon as possible. IMPORTANT: Please open and inspect your order within 48 hours after receipt of your order (even if you are installing the product(s) at a later date, as any damage or missing product claims must be sent over via Fax or Email with Fourty-Eight (48) business hours. For our Damaged or Missing items form, please scroll down to the bottom of this page. All Damaged or Missing Item claims must be received within 48 business hours after you receive delivery of your order. No Exceptions. Please note that although we are diligent and thorough, on very rare occasions human error does happen. Any product that is shipped incorrectly is only valid for exchange (if you wish to return strictly for this reason all of our terms and conditions for return will apply). We will not be held to any lead times or job site restrictions. We do reserve the right to correct any shipping, labeling, or product mistakes due to human error. For example, if you get the wrong shipment, we will allow up to 30 days to exchange for the correct items ordered only in the case that a manufacturer has not changed their product specifications. Product specifications are subject to change without notice per our terms. If you do receive the wrong product and you cannot wait for an exchange, and tell us that you had to buy it locally, all terms of sale will apply and all restocking fees on approved returned will be applied and all shipping cost incurred will be payed by the customer. The reason why we have this on our terms is because humans can make mistakes, and we will fulfill our obligations to any customer according to our terms.

A. IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR OUR OUTDOOR LIGHTING
Most of our outdoor & landscape lighting orders that are in stock typically ship within 1-3 business days. Outdoor / landscape light fixtures that are made in the USA are made per order, and can take 5-21 days before they ship after receipt of your order. 90%+ of the time these orders will ship within 10 business days after receipt of your order, but occasionally orders may get delayed due to workload (most of our outdoor brass, copper & stainless steel fixtures are handmade per order), parts being backordered, holidays, etc. If you are on a deadline or need your fixtures by a certain date, CALL US before placing your order and we can give you a more solid shipping date (+/-2 business days) as well as offer you expedited shipping (overnight, 2-day, 3-day, etc.). Simply put, if you need your fixture(s) by a certain date, CALL US!

B. IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR OUR RECESSED LIGHTING
Please note and understand that when you order recessed cans and trims and you do not get a case quantity (i.e. you order 4 cans & trims when say the case quantity is 6, cans trims have a risk of bending even though we diligently package them. In most cases you can bend the cans and trims back. Case quantities are typically 6, 12, 24 & 48 cans or trims. If you buy say 3 trims, the customer will be responsible if they get bent.

C. IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR CUSTOM AND NEW (TYPICALLY LED) ITEMS FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE
Any specialized or custom product(s) that are not in stock and have to be special ordered from overseas typically take anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks before they ship, and on rare occasion may take up to 12 weeks. These items include but are not limited to: 120v Tape Light, LED Entertainment lighting such as moving heads, strobes, wall washers, etc.; Commercial LED fixtures such as Floods, Wall Packs, High Bays, LED T8 Bulbs, LED Canopies, LED Bollards, LED Acorn & Pole Retrofits, LED Flat Panels, Etc. Please keep in mind that 75% of these products are typically in stock here in the USA, but on occasion need to be ordered from overseas. Please inquire within (CALL US) if you need to know if these items are available here or if we have to special order them from overseas. If they are in stock here in the USA, these items will typically ship within 2-5 business days after you order. If we have to order them from overseas, we will inform you of such and give you an estimated ship date based on information we receive from other sources, and will work diligently to get them to you as soon as humanly possible!

2) RETURNS & EXCHANGES (FOR DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, AND UNWANTED ITEMS YOU WISH TO RETURN)
Please note: Many manufacturers do not accept returns for refunds unless you're willing to pay a hefty restocking fee. If you are buying a sample or not sure you want the items, please contact us so we can let you know if the item(s) are returnable or not. This policy is in effect whether you place your order online, over the phone or in person, i.e. meaning you cannot say "I placed the order over the phone and I did not read this". And under no circumstances, whether it's due to timing, a defect, wrong item received, etc., most of our manufacturers only offer product exchange and/or warranty.

All Sales Final. Any cancellations, returns or exchanges must be done in writing via our return / exchange form (scroll down to the bottom of this page for these forms). Any items that are received damaged in shipment must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and hand-written via our damaged claim form. Emails or phone calls to simply report such issues will not be a valid form of the aformentioned. All Sales Final. Non defective items that are exchanged or refunded will be subject to a 20-45% restocking fee, depending on whether we stock the items here or have the items drop-shipped (i.e. we charge a 20% restocking fee and the manufacturer charges a 20% restocking fee = 40% charged to you). We reserve the right to deny returns or exchanges of non damaged or defective items after 30 days of sale. Returned items must be in new and unused condition. Defective items will be exchanged or refunded (at our discretion) within the warranty period specified (i.e. 1 year warranty posted on the item, etc.). Shipping charges WILL NOT be refunded on non defective returns, no exceptions. Shipping chargers will be refunded on defective returns / exchanges within 30 days after customer's receipt of order. After 30 days, if your product is defective and within the warranty period we will repair or replace the product free of charge, but the customer will be responsible for shipping charges. Light bulbs are not retunable unless packaged UNOPENED in the original packaging, and we will guarantee all bulbs (except LED Bulbs where a different warranty may be noted) for a period not exceeding Thirty (30) days from sale. No exceptions. We do not accept returns on LED Bulbs, no exceptions (unless authorized in writing from the owner of Cal 2 Coast Lighting incorporated). Any LED Bulbs that are defective within the specified warranty period (usually 1 - 10 years) will be exchanged by the manufacturer. Please note, on any approved recessed trim returns (where specified "free shipping", you will be charged with both a restocking fee and our cost to ship the trims to you. If you place your order online, your credit card will be charged immediately. If you choose to cancel the order after placing it online (before it ships), you will be subject to an administrative fee. Please understand that this covers our administrative fees and credit card fees (we get charged by your credit card company when we charge your card AND also when we reverse a charge). If you wish to cancel your order after placing it online, you must do so in writing within Thirty (30) minutes of placing it or all of our terms apply. More importantly, if you wish cancel any orders that are manufactured per order (i.e. Outdoor lights or any custom specified fixtures, etc.) must be done within 30 minutes after the order is placed of order due to labor costs, processing costs, Credit Card fees, etc. All order returns and exchanges (defective, incorrect items, etc..) must be done so in writing using one of the two forms (scroll down to the bottom of this page or our "Contact Us" page for these forms). A simple email or phone call stating your intentions will not be accepted. The aformentioned policy stands whether you placed the order online, via telephone, or in person (walk-ins). All returns and exchanges, defective or otherwise, must have an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) Number clearly visible on the OUTSIDE of the box, or our receiving department will refuse the shipment. Once we receive the appropriate return / exchange form from you, we will call you and supply you with that RGA number. For instances where monies are refunded, we will email or fax you (at your preference) a credit memo stating the amount to be credited back to your card (this amount will be according to our aformentioned terms and will reflect the amount minus any restocking fees (where applicable). Once the credit memo is signed, it must be either emailed to us or faxed to us, and we will credit your credit card for said amount within 48 business hours after receipt of your signed credit memo.

Please keep in mind that once you give one of our sales reps a credit card number, it is considered an credit card authorization, however on some orders (usually orders over $1,000.00) you may be asked to sign a credit card authorization. The authorization form is to ensure your identy to prevent fraud. If you need to change or cancel your order, you must follow the guidelines via our online forms located at the bottom of this page.

A. IMPORTANT RETURN INFORMATION REGARDING OUR OUTDOOR LIGHTING / ANY CUSTOMIZED LIGHTING PRODUCTS
Please note that all outdoor fixtures that are handmade in the USA are not returnable. Any lighting made to your unique specifications (i.e. colors, length, etc.) such as custom length undercabinet strip lighting, custom finished outdoor fixtures, etc. are non-returnable. In any event we ship out an incorrect custom item, we will exchange such item for the correct item you initially ordered. Once the corrected item is received, it is non-returnable. This includes, Solar Lights, Spot & Flood Lights, Pathway Lights, Area Lights, Deck Lights, Step Lights, Paver Lights, Post Lights, Column Lights, Well Lights, Wall Lights, Underwater Lights, 120v Tape Light, Custom commercial fixtures, Etc. Also, any custom built LED or induction commercial lighting (i.e. flood lights, wall packs, high bay fixtures, canopies, troffers, flat panels, wall washers, etc.) or any custom LED or Induction fixture(s) once they are assembled become the property of the customer once they are assembled, we cannot take them back even if they are unused, used or open whether they have shipped or not due to the time and labor involved. However, all custom LED or Induction fixtures are under full warranty (for the timeframe specified online, usually 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 years). During the warranty period, these items, if defective, will be repaired or exchanged at the manufacturer's discretion within a reasonable time frame, and we stand behind our LED and induction fixtures. There are no exceptions to the above, as these terms stated herein are binding and will not be changed for anyone, even if you claim a salesperson tells you otherwise. Anything claimed to be stated over the phone is non-binding, and these terms can only be overridden if in writing and signed by an authorized employee of Cal 2 Coast Lighting Incorporated.

B. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON 12V OR 120V MR16 HALOGEN DIRECTIONAL UPLIGHTS
Please note that we offer 50 Watt Halogen as an option on these landscape directional uplights, downlights, etc. Anything over 35 Watts in these fixtures risks overheating which cana crack the glass and severely shorten the life of the bulb. We do not warranty these fixtures over 35 Watts as they tend to get too hot. If you wish to have this much light (you usually don't need more than 20 watts for landscape lighting), we recommend using a 12V 8 watt or 10 watt LED, or a 120V 8 watt LED, which will give you 50-75 watts equivalent of Halogen lighting!

C. IMPORTANT RETURN INFORMATION REGARDING PRODUCTS MANUFACTURERED BY ELITE, MAXILUME, OR ORACLE
Please note that any lighting products that we offer that are manufacured by Elite Lighting, Oracle Lighting or Maxilume Lighting are subect to a 65% Restocking fee. This is due to the high restocking fees from this manufacturer. If you have any questions regarding the brand of the lighting you are buying, please call us before you place your order and we will happily tell you the manufacturer.

D. IMPORTANT RETURN INFORMATION REGARDING LIGHT BULBS (LED, CFL, HALOGEN, HID, INDUCTION, ETC.)
Please note that on any light bulb purchases, all sales are FINAL, and there will be no returns allowed for refund, no exceptions. In some special cases, we will allow exchanges only with prior written approval. However, any stated warranties on bulbs (i.e. LED Bulbs) will be honored, and your bulbs, if under warranty, will be eligible for defective exchange only.

E. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING LIGHT SOCKET WARRANTIES ON LANDSCAPE / OUTDOOR LIGHTING
Due to recent cases of misuse of the light sockets in many of our Landscape / Outdoor Lighting products, all sockets in these fixtures are warrantied for a period of One (1) Year from the date you receive your lights. This supercedes any socket warranty information on any of the product descriptions. Please note that the #1 cause of socket failure is overheating, using LED bulbs eliminates this problem as they run significantly cooler than standard Halogen or Incandescent. So for increased socket longevity, we highly reccomend using LED! Please note that if your socket(s) do fail after One (1) year, they are very inexpensive (typically around $5.00 each) and easy to replace.

3) ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

A. MINIMUM ORDER: Please note that we have a $100.00 minimum order (meaning the order itself, before any applicable taxes and shipping charges). If you choose to order items and the order is under $100.00, a surcharge will apply. Any order that is under our $100.00 minimum (but over $50.00) will have a $15.00 surcharge added to the order , and any order that is under our $100.00 minimum (and under $50.00) will have a $25.00 surcharge added to the order. The surcharge is separate from and will not include shipping costs. Please note, this DOES NOT mean there will be free shipping if your order is over $100.00.

B. ALASKA, HAWAII, CANADA, PUERTO RICO, ETC.: It is recommended that if you reside outside of the lower 48 states that you call in your order. If you place your order online and you are from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, etc., our shopping cart system is currently unable to calculate shipment outside of the lower 48 states, and we will manually calculate your shipment and adjust your order total accordingly. As such, we recommend for these customers to call us at (818) 772-0518 and place the order over the phone so your entire order can be calculated at the time of purchase.

C. IMAGE QUALITY AND COLORS SHOWN ON OUR WEBSITE: Due to the printing, scanning, reproduction process, your monitor quality, monitor settings, video card type & settings, etc., colors/finishes/lenses shown on our website and/or catalog(s) will be close but may not be identical to the actual finish/lenses you receive. Unfortunately this is beyond our control. Dimensions on our website can change without prior notice according to the manufacturers discretion. If dimensions on our website do change, We are not responsible. If exact dimensions are important, please call us ahead of time so we can confirm dimensions before you order.

D. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS, CHANGES TO SPECIFICATIONS, ETC: DAlthough we are diligent and update product specifications as often as possible, product specifications such as but not limited to dimensions, minor product changes, etc. on occasion can and do happen. We are not responsible if these product changes differ from the website. If you need exact dimensions, specifications, etc., please CALL US before placing your order and we can verify with you the current specifications so there are no surprises. Also, due to the nature of hand-made machining, any raw fixtures (Raw Brass, Raw Copper or Stainless Steel) that are unpainted or otherwise that are machined or hand made, may occasionally have minor blemises and/or scratches. Keep in mind that these usually add to t he beauty of the fixture, and scratches will usually darken and become unnoticeable within a month or so. Keep in mind that any minor blemises, tiny scratches, etc. will not be considered a defective issue on hand-made raw fixtures.

E. IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION ON 12 VOLT & 24 VOLT LED BULBS AND FIXTURES: As of January 2008, the following applies to all low voltage LED bulbs and fixtures: LED Bulbs and Fixtures are warrantied for the period advertised with the LED Bulb or fixture EXCEPT if you are using a 12v or 24v LED Bulb or Fixture and you are NOT using our transformers. Low Voltage LED Bulbs require specific transformers. If you are using your own transformer (not supplied by us), the warranty will be for a limited one (1) year, if it is a lighting specific transformer. If it is just a general 12V non-lighting specific transformer (such as a "Buck & Boost"), your wararnty will be void and there will be no warranty. You can use our AC or DC transformers and the following warranties of Three (3) to Ten (10) years apply depending on what is stated in the specified product information. If a product is listed as 12 Volt DC or 24 Volt DC only, and you connect the product to a 12VAC transformer, your warranty will be void. Many products can work on either AC or DC power, but if a product is listed as DC only and you power it with an AC Transformer, you will damage the product and void all warranties.

F. IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION ON ROPE AND TAPE LIGHT: Please note, during shipment the plastic holding together the spools of Rope Light and Tape Light can occasonally crack or break a little. This does NOT affect the fucntionality of the Rope or Tape Light, and also does NOT affect the warranty in any way If you find the plastic around the Rope Light and Tape Light is broken, do not worry, as it is normal to occur during shipment. Any spools of Rope or Tape Light that have the plastic cracked or broken are not considered defective unless the cracking has done physical damage to the lights themselves. If you wish to return such spools, all of our terms and conditions of returning a new, non-defective product apply. If you order ANY rope or tape light, PLEASE make sure to verify that it is the CORRECT product (voltage, color, etc..) before unravelling or cutting the spool. Once the Rope or Tape Light is cut, not only does it void the UL listing, but we cannot accept returns on any cut rope or tape light, defective or otherwise. Once rope or tape light is cut, it is non-returnable even if it is NOT the spool you ordered, no exceptions. If you have unraveled the spool and NOT cut it, and it is defective, we will replace the rope or tape light within the warranty period free of charge. If the incorrect spool was shipped in error (this very rarely happens, but feel free to call us when you receive your rope or tape light order and we will happily verify you have received the correct spool(s) over the phone, and if you received incorrect spool(s), i.e. 12 Volt when you ordered 120 Volt, we will promply fax you a return label and send out the correct spool at no charge to you. But please DO NOT CUT IT until you know for sure you have received the correct order! Also, if you cut rope or tape light and find dark spots, you will have to replace /splice in burnt out pieces at your own expense. Please remember one important thing: DO NOT PLUG IN AND TURN ON ANY ROPE OR TAPE LIGHT WHILE IT IS STILL ON THE SPOOL! DOING SO WILL CAUSE IT TO MELT AND MALFUCNTION WITHIN SECONDS! This will void your warranty, and we will not be able to accept rope or tape light in this condition for return or exchange even in the case that the wrong product was shipped to you. If you believe you have received the wrong product, please check the invoice and/or the model # specified on the box and call us ASAP, and we will rectify the issue at no cost to you. Please make sure you have received the CORRECT rope light before installation and or splicing.

G. IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION FOR ALL NON-SPOOL LENGTHS (I.E. WE SELL YOU A CUT PIECE) OF 120V LED TAPE LIGHT: Please note, all cut lengths of 120V LED Tape / Strip Light that we sell to the customer are covered by a limited 3 year warranty. Within the First (1st) year, we will repair or replace the burnt out section of your cut piece if 20% or more of your cut piece fails due to product defect one (1) time free of charge. After the first time we repair your cut length of the 120V LED Tape / Strip Light or after the First (1st) year, a small charge will apply to any future repairs within the above-mentioned 3 year warranty period. On cut pieces, we provide cut lenghts to customers as a convenience for situations when a customer needs less than a 164 foot roll. The warranty is only valid if more than 20% of your cut piece is defective. We recommend ordering a little additional length than you require to compensate for this 20% pontential defective loss from cutting. Please note, this only applies to the cut pieces we sell you (i.e. we cut the piece and sell you the cut piece) and does NOT apply if you cut either a full uncut spool, or a cut length that we sell you. You are welcome to make your own cuts, but please keep in mind that ANY 120V LED Tape / Strip light that is cut by the customer will void all warranties, so do so at your own risk! For all uncut spools, they will be repaired and / or replaced for the entire Three (3) year duration of the warranty on the UNCUT spools. Alll other terms of sale apply.

H. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND TERMS: If you place an order online and your credit card gets declined when we process your order, we will make every effort possible to reach you via telephone or email to resolve the issue. However, in the mean time, our system will continue to re-attempt to charge your credit card until the transaction is either approved or cancelled unless you contact us to inform us that you wish to cancel your order and complete the order cancellation form. We cannot and will not advise on installation and wiring of our lighting beyond the fixture(s) basic features and functions, as we are prohibited and held liable by law since we are NOT licensed electriicians. We may, however, be able to assist you in locating a qualified licensed electrician to suit your needs. We offer a Lifetime Guarantee on all of our Solid Brass, Copper and Stainless Steel Fixtures on material only. We guarantee these fixtures will NEVER rust or corrode. Finish on custom painted fixtures will be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from date of delivery. Sockets and wiring will be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from date of delivery.

I. INFORMATION ON DISPUTES AND RESOLUTIONS: If there is an issue with your order (i.e. missing item(s) or damaged goods not reported within 48 hours, simply wanting to return part of all of the order, etc.) and you dispute your credit card through your credit card company without following our Terms and Conditions, you will be subject to our collection agency to pursue our monies as well as all collection fees. If we do have to send the account to collections, there will be no negotiating at that point through us, it will all be through our collection agency. If you fail to pay the amount due in collections you will be subject to litigation, which may severely affect your credit score. Any credit card disputes that do not fall within our Terms & Conditions of Sale are subject to finance fees, collection fees every day they are past due until funds are collected, finance and interest fees are up to 7% per day starting from invoice date, or the maximum allowed by law. In the event the account is turned over for collection, Client agrees to pay any and all collection costs incurred to collect the unpaid balance(s) with the legally allowed interest and fines. Client also agrees that the North Valley District Chatsworth Courthouse in Chatsworth, California shall be the appropriate location for any instituted legal action. Client waives right to jury trial and consents to the long arm jurisdiction of the court. Reasonable attorney's fees shall be awarded the prevailing party.

4) DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED / MISSING AND GENERAL PRODUCT RETURN FORMS BELOW:

PLEASE NOTE: In regard to items that are mis-shipped (you received the wrong item), defective or damaged in shipping, please keep in mind that unless given special authorization to do so BEFORE placing your order, these items are NOT elegible for full refunds if returned, and if you wish to completely return these items, all applicable terms and conditions will apply. Of course, we will repair, replace or exchange these items as long as our terms are met.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ALL RETURNS AND EXCHANGES - READ FIRST!

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE NO ADDRESS LISTED WHATSOEVER FOR YOU TO SHIP PACKAGES BACK UNTIL WE GIVE YOU AN AUTHORIZED RGA#, MEANING THAT IF YOU SHIP BACK TO AN ADDRESS ON THE SHIPPING LABEL OR INVOICE, OR A MANUFACTURER'S SHIPPING LABEL, PACKING SLIP, ETC. WITHOUT AN AUTHORIZED RGA# IT WILL BE UP TO THE CUSTOMER TO FIND AND LOCATE THE PACKAGE, AND WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST SHIPMENTS IF YOU SEND THEM BACK WITHOUT AN AUTHORIZED RGA#. WE ARE NOT A SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAM. WE DO NOT OPERATE LIKE COSTCO, HOME DEPOT, ETC. WE ARE A LIGHTING WHOLESALER TO THE PUBLIC. ALL TERMS APPLY, AND OUR RETURN PROCESS CAN BE TIMELY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO RETURN AFTER 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE. THIS GOES FOR ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS OLD AND NEW.
