We are proud to say that 70% of our lights are made and / or assembled here in the USA. 95% of our competitors do not have one single item made in the USA!
We are doing our part to keep our country strong, and keep American workers employed!

With all that you see in the news these days (wars, bombings, etc...), how much support should we give foreign countries? It's bad enough that we rely on them for probably 80% of their goods and services! We don't know about you but we believe that the less money we send to these outside sources, the less money they'll have to fuel their missiles! If a product states "Made in the USA" or has a "Made in the USA" logo, it is made in the USA. If it doesn't have that logo, it might still be made or assembled in the USA, please call us to find out! So in doing our part to keep our country strong and keep our money here, the following items on our website are 100% made right here in the USA:

On top of that, all of our products not listed above are either tested here in the USA, and has a company that employs a large group of American citizens. Help keep our Country strong! If it's all just about saving money, then we will fall as a country! So keep in mind when you buy from us, not only are you saving American jobs by buying from us you might also be saving lives! And by the way, none of our competitors support one single American made product, not one!
 |
In addition, we are dedicated to keeping Americans employed and are proud to do our part as all of our employees are American citizens. In fact, we have created over 135 American jobs for employees assembling, manufacturing, testing and shipping our products! A lot of our products are either made in the USA from the ground up or assembled in the USA, and all of our products are tested by American employees before they are shipped out to ensure you get the highest quality and most reliable lighting in the market today. For the products that are made or assembled here in the USA, we know we can get the same exact product overseas for a little cheaper, but we truly believe in keeping Americans employed and we do our part in keeping our economy strong and growing. Just remember, if you think you are saving a buck here and there buying Chinese light fixtures, in the long run you're killing the American economic food chain. If we all buy from China, for example, eventually we will be China! And rest assured that even our light fixtures that are made and or assembled in the USA are still priced better than our competitors that willfully import everything from China! Now unfortunately not all of our products are made in the USA, as some lighting products are impossible to make here and be competitive (such as Rope Light, Tape Light, LED Bulbs, Fluorescent fixtures, etc...), but even these items are still for the most part assembled here, tested here, and handled here by hard working Americans. After doing our research, we have found some competitors in the lighting world that strictly import their fixtures and then undercut our prices by literally 2 -3 CENTS to try to offer you a "better" price. In order to keep America going strong, we have lowered our prices by $0.50 or more to offer you the best choice and price out there! May God bless the USA and all of its wonderful citizens!

1) QUESTION: Which of our products are made in the USA?
ANSWER: Over 90% of our outdoor Solid Brass, Raw Copper and Stainless Steel outdoor lighting is made right here in the USA. In addition, all of our outdoor wire and transformers are made here in the USA as well. Most of our USA outdoor lighting offers a Lifetime Warranty against Rust and Corrosion, and we can offer this because of the high level of craftsmanship of these items. We also offer an unprecedented Ten Year warranty on all of our outdoor Transformers. Much of our Recessed lighting is assembled here in the USA, and all of our Low Voltage and Fluorescent Recessed lighting have built-in USA made transformers and ballasts! Also, all of our LED and Induction commercial lighting fixtures are fully assembled and / or tested here in the USA!

2) QUESTION: Why do we still make most of our outdoor products in the USA instead of going overseas?
ANSWER: Two reasons. First of all, quality. Products made here in the USA are often made better and stronger than the ones that are made overseas because a) workers in the USA are paid exponentially better than factory workers in China, thus American workers tend to place more pride in their work, and b) Chinese factories are always looking to cut corners, especially in our current global recession, which can and does adversely affect quality.
Keeping hard working Americans employed benefits all of us and is the both the right and patriotic thing to do. Each fixture may cost us a few bucks more, but the more jobs lost to overseas ends up costing ALL of us more in the long run. Remember, if we all buy everything from China, eventually we will become China! The more Americans are working, the better the economy for all of us.
There are other companies out there that only think in terms of maximizing profits at the expense of quality. We believe selling the highest quality products, even if it cuts into our profit per item slightly, is the best way to retain customers, and in the long run, we make more money because after your first order, when you need more lighting, you'll remember us! Our goal is repeat business, not selling you inferior products that you will regret later. And by the same token, we would like to support the American companies to keep them in Business.

3) QUESTION: How do we prove that we are making these lights in the USA?
ANSWER: First of all, you will notice that the lead time for our advertised American made fixtures starts from four days up to ten (10) working days. For example, if you buy a unit that contains glass, you will see that it's hand-wrapped with foam and bubble wrap. You will also notice that our pathway and area lights don't have individual boxes; they actually are bulk packed because they are not made in China, as our warehouse packs everything by hand. And of course, the craftsmanship. All of our stems are solid, one-piece stems. The easiest giveaway on Chinese products, especially on their path and area lighting, is that they use cheap threaded 2-piece stems.

4) QUESTION: Since all of these items are made here in the USA, can I customize them?
ANSWER: Yes, of course you can! If you like the fixture but need a different size or just about any other custom application, we can get you what you need within a reasonable time, furthermore proving that these are made in the United States. Please keep in mind that for all custom sized fixtures or custom fixtures that we do not have on our website, there will be a flat mold fee ranging from $250.00 to $1,000.00, depending on the complexity of the customization. Keep in mind this fee will be flat and if you order say 20 fixtures, the mold fee will average out much lower per fixture. Please call us at (877) 762-2515 Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm Pacific Time. Or, you can click here to email us at sales@c2clights.com.
