3″ TrueSpec™ LED Retrofit Module Ready Remodel Housing. Comes fully AIR-TIGHT. IC Rated for direct contact with insulation. Comes with clips for drywall mounting, Halo Compatible. Small aperture low voltage, thermally protected remodel housing. For fast and easy installation in existing plaster or mechanical ceilings from ½” to 1-3/8″ thick. This retrofit-ready LED housing is engineered with a easy connect wiring system which are designed to be used with our 3″ LED TrueSpec™ retrofit kits. LED TrueSpec™ Retrofit Module is NOT included and must be ordered separately.

Meets California Title 24 “No Edison Socket” standards as well as any state that has banned use of Edison based sockets. The easy connect system allows for simple installation… install a module in seconds, virtually eliminating mis-wiring and potential shock hazards!

Accommodates any of our 3″ TrueSpec™ LED Recessed Retrofit Kits. Junction box is provided with eight ½” KOs and four Romex knockouts with strain relief.

DIMENSIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THIS LED MODULE HOUSING SHOWN BELOW

A. HOUSING: Die-formed all aluminum construction for maximum heat dissipation and rust protection. Housing can be installed in 1/2“ to 1-3/8” thick ceilings. Housing is IC rated for direct contact with insulation and can be used in IC and NON-IC applications. Designed to be installed in 2″ x 6″ joist construction.

B. CONNECTION: Polarity-specific easy connect system engineered to match with all of our 3″ LED TrueSpec™ retrofit modules. Meets strict code requirements where Edison Base Sockets have been banned (Such as California, Washington State, etc).

C. INSTALLATION: For fast and easy installation in existing plaster or mechanical ceilings the housing installs from below the ceiling. Four preinstalled spring clips with secure the housing firmly into ceiling to accommodate different ceiling thicknesses from 1/2” to 1-3/8”.

D. JUNCTION BOX: UL Listed for through-branch circuit wiring, provided with eight ½” knockouts and four Romex knockouts with true pry-out slots and strain clamps.

F. WARRANTY: Lifetime Warranty on Housing. Our integrated LED Retrofit Kits are typically warrantied for five (5) years. Please see the warranty information for your desired retrofit kit.
