2″ LED REMODEL RECESSED HOUSING. MEETS NEWEST CA TITLE 24 REQUIREMENTS!
2″ 120V LED Remodel Retrofit Ready Recessed Housing (Can). Comes fully AIR-TIGHT. IC Rated for direct contact with insulation. Comes with clips for drywall mounting, Halo Compatible. Small aperture, thermally protected remodel housing. For fast and easy installation in existing plaster or mechanical ceilings from ½” to 1-3/8″ thick. This retrofit-ready LED housing is engineered with a easy connect wiring system which are designed to be used with our 2″ LED recessed module kits. 2″ LED Module is not included and must be ordered separately. Meets California Title 24 “No Edison Socket” standards as well as any state that has banned use of Edison based sockets. The easy connect system allows for simple installation… install a module in seconds, virtually eliminating mis-wiring and potential shock hazards! Contains one 1-1/8″, six 7/8″ knockouts and four Romex pryouts with strain relief.

HOUSING: High-temperature 22-gauge galvanized steel, deep drawn single piece housing. Housing adjusts vertically in plaster frame to accommodate ½” to 1-3/8″ thick ceilings. ousing is IC rated for direct contact with insulation and can be used in IC and NON-IC applications.

CONNECTION: Polarity-specific easy connect system engineered to match with all of our 2″ LED integrated retrofit modules. Meets strict code requirements where Edison Base Sockets have been banned (Such as California, Washington State, etc).

INSTALLATION: For fast and easy installation in existing plaster or mechanical ceilings the housing installs from below the ceiling. Four preinstalled spring clips with secure the housing firmly into ceiling to accommodate different ceiling thicknesses from 1/2” to 1-3/8”.

JUNCTION BOX: UL Listed for through-branch circuit wiring, provided with one 1-1/8″, six 7/8″ knockouts and four Romex pryouts with strain relief.

THERMAL PROTECTOR: Self resetting thermal protector deactivates fixture if overheating occurs due to improper lamping or misapplied insulation.
