INSTALLATION: Installs in minutes and easily “pops” into your existing housing. Torsion springs supplied for convenient mounting to existing remodel or new construction 6″ or 5″ 120V housings. Includes E26 Medium Screw-in Base Adapter. For California Title 24 “No Edison socket” compliance or for existing GU24 Twist Lock housings, simply cut off the screw base from the retrofit kit, cut off the socket from the housing to expose the wires (MAKE SURE YOUR POWER IS OFF TO PREVENT INJURY), and simply splice them together! If you have LED ready housings, i.e. housings with no sockets but uses a clip (usually orange colored), these housings will snap directly to that clip making installation a breeze!
