6″ / 5″ 120V 12 Watt MCCT Baffle Series LED Recessed Retrofit Kit! Comes with everything you need for an EZ install into your existing 6″ or 5″ 120V Halo-Compatible Recessed Housing. These will fit in almost ANY 6″ or 5″ housing out there! Built-in light color selector allows you to change from 3000K to 4000K to 5000K with an easy to use toggle switch! Dimmable from 100% down to 5% with most dimmers! Features an isolated driver for improved thermal management! This LED Retrofit kit comes with a full Five (5) year manufacturer’s warranty. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THIS 6″ / 5″ MCCT BAFFLE SERIES LED RETROFIT
MATERIAL: Extruded Cast Aluminum housing, premium heavy duty aluminum heatsinks, metal baffle, metal trim ring, and frosted lens diffuser lens. Unlike many of the cheap units you might find at Home Depot, Lowe’s etc., this Retrofit Kit is all metal including the reflector trim!
VOLTAGE: 120VAC Line Voltage.
BEAM ANGLE: 90° Beam Angle mimics typical incandescent & halogen flood bulbs. Please see spec sheet (link above) for photometrics
LIGHT COLOR OUTPUTS: Each light can toggle between 3000K Warm White (mimics warm halogen), 4000K Pure White (mimics fluorescent, or a pure white light) and 5000K Cool White (used mainly in commercial or art deco settings, and gives off a bluish-white light).
CRI: >90! The higher the CRI (Color Rendering Index) rating, the better! CRI represents the amount of the spectrum used in the light output, i.e. the higher the value, the better the color clarity you will see from the light! LED doesn’t just save you money in energy costs, but it gives you a BETTER light versus Fluorescent. You will SEE the difference!
DIMMING: Fully Dimmable from 100% – 5% with almost any standard 120VAC Triac Compatible Dimmers.
COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with almost all (99%) of the standard 6″ or 5″ housings (Halo, Capri, Juno, Commercial Electric, Utilitech, etc). If you are unsure if your housing is compatible, call us and we will confirm it for you!
INSTALLATION: Installs in minutes and easily “pops” into your existing housing. Torsion springs supplied for convenient mounting to existing remodel or new construction 6″ 120v housings. Includes E26 Medium Screw-in Base Adapter. For California Title 24 “No Edison socket” compliance or for existing GU24 Twist Lock housings, simply cut off the screw base from the retrofit kit, cut off the socket from the housing to expose the wires (MAKE SURE YOUR POWER IS OFF TO PREVENT INJURY), and simply splice them together! If you have LED ready housings, i.e. housings with no sockets but uses a clip (usually orange colored), these housings will snap directly to that clip making installation a breeze!
